Yes, peaking around 120-130 degrees from me. Almost certainly from Iran or Cyprus. I see a lot of these around the bands. Probably not new, just that SDR sees what conventional radios never did.

Thanks Steve.  Although I'm often on 15M on Saturdays at this time, I've never seen this before.  Oh well.

It is coming from NE for me in Barbados. Definitely somewhere Europe.
If I point 45 North East I can get an S8.

I checked with my remote station in Madrid and it looks indeed like Middle East.
From Barbados is 50 degrees North East.
From Madrid, Spain it is 95 to 100 degrees due East (slightly South East)

Not detect in in this region, however they mostly appear here on 12 & 17 meters many times much stronger & with wider bandwidth during the day.  I will do post next time it appears over on this side.

    Ali,

Is it East or West of you?
Do you see it at all?

i have seen it on a lot of frequency, if you zoom out enough you will notice the systeme transmitt a kind of "ping" on a LOT of band and automaticly choose the frequency that respond best for the time of the day. a friend of mine (military) say it's the russian CONTAINER RADAR that is about 1 year ahead of its posted realesead time. it seem that they use this to track any flying object (plane, missile)...

I have my beam pointing west of north most of the time at 320 Deg.
If I detect them again I will find out at which direction I would get a peak, surely it comes from the northern direction.

That Syrian radar or whatever it is just popped up on 17m right in the middle of my QSO with RA1QEA, taking up the band from 18.060 to 18.080.  Fortunately with my 50hz CW filter engaged I was able to finish the QSO!
