Hi James,

I noticed you asked about PGXL working with the APD feature. I too have the PGXL and would like to know the answer to this question. It seems the 8000 series was introduced to enable this and at the time of its announcement, Mike, VA3MW, was talking about how the PGXL was set up already to feedback to the 8000 to take advantage of APD. I am disappointed that we still don't have APD going to the extent the amplifier is able to fully take advantage of APD. Instead, we are now into the subscription paradigm with no PGXL in the APD loop! Instead, it appears from the "outside-customer view" we see Flex's efforts going into yet a new radio, the Aroura! I like you, would like to be able to hook up my PGXL to take full advantage of the APD feature. -Bill, AD5EW
