Hi Kenneth… can you give us a bit more information on what you are experiencing/expecting?

Are you saying you can't connect to your Aurora?

Are you trying to connect remotely or via your local WAN or via direct cable?

We need a bit more information to help you out.

The aurora connects via hard wire network cable to your home network either a switch or a router. In itself it has networking but internet would be provided by your home internet service. Aurora in it self does not require internet except perhaps to purchase extended software features (V4.x) or for smartlink remote access. Aside from those it uses your home network to run if you use a Maestro or a computer to control it.

The radio does not have an Internet connection. An internet connection is required to configure Smartlink
the network cable is conneted and working, have internet green light on the switch flashing both green lights, one green light on at the back of the Aurora and its not flashing

Hi Kenneth… If you are directly connecting the Maestro to your Aurora via a cable, or if the radio and the Maestro are on the same home network, there is no need for Smartlink. Smartlink is used if you wish to operate your computer from a remote location.

It sounds like you need to connect an ethernet cable between your Aurora and your Maestro directly, or connect both the Aurora and the Maestro to your home router/network via their own ethernet cables. Then they will automatically see each other.

If you are still having difficulty, I would recommend you open a Help Desk ticket and let the staff walk you through the procedure.

Ok everything you said I have done and the radio was working. I went into menu then network setting and in the advanced settings inter a static IP address ,subnet mast, gateway in the internet section . That’s when everything went down hill

OK… that's a step forward. If you remove/delete the IP info and let the network assign and address for each of the radio and Maestro, I think we can get it working again.

Unless there's some special networking requirement at your location, it's best to just let the network do the device addressing for you.

    good morning

I am unable to get into the network in the Aurora,

I try changing the IP Address of the Aurora via the Maestro but it doesn’t work.
No communication between the Maestro and the Aurora at all.

Is there a factory reset, or a reboot to original state.

Hi Kenneth.. Please open up a Help Desk ticket to get the Flex staff to walk you through the configuration. I suspect (and they will need to confirm) that DHCP needs to be turned on.
