S.A.T Self-contained Antenna Tracker

Those of you using a 6600 with vhf and uhf transverters - has anyone used the S.A.T Satellite Antenna Tracker from CSN Technologies — http://www.igatemini.com/sat

It's designed to control ICOM rigs, but it will work with a Yeasu AZ/EL rotator to track the birds. I don't think it needs to be connected to the radio to work. From what I see, it merely controls the frequency setting on the radio.

If it works as advertised, it would reduce the amount of rotator tuning needed to keep a bird in range.

The CSN S.A.T device will not interface with a Flex Radio.

I provided CSN with a easy to implement method to interface with Flex and they have so far not added same to their firmware.

I recently asked CSN Technologies about SAT support they said their latest firmware is supposed to work with Flex radios via TCP/IP wanted to see if anyone has any recent experience with the device?

In our last update, we have added Support for flex radios I’m not familiar with the radios that you’ve listed so I’m not sure which Radio versions it actually works with.If it is a current flex, Radio, the SAT will control it over the network.MikeSent from my iPhone

The S.A.T works with the Flex over TCP. The device creates two new pan adapters and two new slices, which can be disruptive to a four slice configuration.
