Hi all

I am disappointed and also very surprised that you don't even have a BCM concept or solution for the cloud service SmartLink or even a current backup ot the servers in the cloud with the crypto-keys. We are not able to use our high-end remote station. The fact that this incident now requires a new Windows desktop client shows that there are other challenges here with the current SmartLink solution. I hope that the SmartLink service will be up and running again soon and we can be on the air again.

It would be much easier and more efficient for us as SmartSDR users if we could communicate directly peer-to-peer with the Flex radio instead of using the SmartLink cloud server. Or we have to build our own site-to-site VPN Network in order to use our Flex radios without any cloud services.

We will be happy to pay a yearly license fee for SmartSDR. But dependencies to cloud service are not desired to use the Flexradio.

    We are equally if not more disappointed that SmartLink is not available for Windows clients, and we have a serverless peer-to-peer feature request for Windows SmartSDR in our Jira.

    However, your statement that we "...don't even have a BCM concept or solution for the cloud service SmartLink or even a current backup ot [sic] the servers in the cloud with the crypto-keys." is pure conjecture and has no basis in fact. Please refrain from creating or repeating baseless assumptions.

    We continue to be transparent with the nature of the fault and process we are currently engaged in to restore SmartLink functionality. As more information becomes available, we will post it here.
