SmartCAT will noty start

Hi all

I have configured SmartSDR (ver 4.0.1on a Win 10 PC) to automatically launch SmartCAT when started.

Quite often, SmartCAT will not start, and when it does, it does not work properly quite often too. .

Any idea how to fix that ?

    In other words, should I reinstall Smart SDR, and if so, can I reinstall on top of the existing one, so as not to loose the setup ?

    Should I install the latest version, instead of reinstalling v4.0.1 ?

    Hi Paul, I would just install 4.1.5. There is no need to uninstall the old one. Export your profiles first

    I did download and install v4.1.5 without any issue….BUT when I am trying to launch JTDX, I get an error message regarding an "entry point procedure clock_gettime64 that cannot be fouund in the dynamic links library C:\JTDX64\FLEX\bin\libhamlib-4.dll"

    MSHV and WSJT won't work either…

    Another issue (maybe it is not) : on the DSP, in CW mode, the NRL option is greyed out, in SSB NRL ANFL ANFT are greyed out, in DIGU, the NRL is greyed out. Is this normal ?

    How can I solve that ?

    Hi Paul, did you purchase SmartSDR+? If not, that is why the controls are grayed out.

    The JTDX issue may be solved by doing a factory reset (after exporting profiles).

    No, no SmartSDR+… I did a factory reset

    I did a factory reset, and once again, Spmart CAT won' start, not even with the shortcul created by the installation. When I solve a problem, it creates another issue, when I solve this new issue, the old problem comes back.

    Now the clock_gettime64 issue is appearing again. Back to square 1…

    Quite annoying…

    Next step please ?

    Paul, you need to open a support ticket. It will be much faster to get it resolved. They respond pretty fast.

    La vie n'est pas belle ! Problem shows again… Starting SmardSDR will start SmartDAX but will not start SmartCAT.

    Kind of getting fed up…

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
