How do I but the v4 extended features upgrade?

Thanks, but didn't work. After scanning with my phone, it took me to a long list of Flex products for sale but no V4 upgrade. Is there another way to buy it?

Hi James, not that I know of. I would submit a help desk ticket.

Once you buy it, what happens next? Do they send you a link to download the upgrade? So far all I have seen is confirmation of my purchase.

Ok. I hit the refresh button, and the noise floor now works but the noise mitigation buttons are still grayed out.

Thank you everyone for the advice and help. In spite of Flex efforts to keep me from buying the + version, I found a way to to do it.

1.Load the v4.0.1 ssdr for windows in your pc and have it linked to your radio

2. Pull down the Settings tab

3.Click Radio set up and there you will find Get Smart SDR+ and Get Early Access at the bottom of the screen.

Click and you're in business.

I could not make this work on my 8600m screen. It would appear to work, but when the screen said to scan a QR code with my phone, my phone went to some vague shopping cart thing and a list of products in which I could not find the ssdr+ upgrade.

Likewise, the website was of no value.

Anyway, now the SSDR+ load seems to be running fine in my radio. I don't really know if there's any improvement because all the good stuff is greyed out. Apparently, for one month.

I almost bought the early access load, but it occurred to me that then I would be paying an extra $100 to be a beta tester.

I've been very happy with my Flex station and am looking forward to being even happier - one month from now.

Radio-8600M:
I followed the instructions on the release notes and after the ritual was completed the radio menu on the front panel indicates "Subscription: SmartSDR+". Am I correct in assuming that because all of the new features are showing as locked I will have to wait ~ 30 days to have access to these features ?
I was kinda hoping that the "plus" subscribers would get immediate access to the new features for this drop then have to wait 30 days for each subsequent release....
Anyway, looking forward to to using the new capabilities...

I need help, I went to buy the SSDR+ V4 and I entered my customer email address and password and I get the RED flag that they are invalid!!! They were good enough to by the 8600, TGXL. AGXL and PGXL!! so what do you recommend I do??

I have read all of the above and am still confused. Should I have waited 30 days befor uploading SmartSDR v.4.0.1?

Hi Gregg, loading 4.0.1 now is the right thing to do. If you buy the Plus option to unlock the new functionality, you won't see that functionality until the end of November.

The Plus option is $50 off right now, so this is the time to purchase if you are inclined to get it.

I also had problems with the payment method (France), then they sent me an invoice with an alternative payment method which went through last night (Thursday) - it’s close of business Friday now and I still don’t have SDR+ activated…

End of Monday now, The money was taken from my bank and still no SDR+ when I click refresh...bit annoying.
