Antenna Genius Loses Connection to Flexradio

I am installing an Antenna Genius. I have upgraded the firmware to 4.1.8. It appears that the AG will not stay connected to the radio. I have defined the antenna connections and configured the port A connection to my flex and that seemed ok. Port b is not configured to a specific radio. When I start the AG it comes up in auto mode on both port a and b and seems to work. Port a side will show me current radio band and port b side says none as it should. But soon after I get it up and running I will see a small window pop up in lower right hand corner of display. It says "SMARTSDR Client connected to IP xxxxxx (where **** is AG's ip." And then the port a side will change from showing the correct Flex band to "none". I have tried different network cables, cabling it to different spots on network but nothing seems to fix this issue. Had anyone seen these kind of intermittent connections with the AG?

I had similar issues and instead of connecting the Flex equipment, the computer and the AGs to the router, I connected them to an inexpensive dedicated switch and that switch connected to the router. I had disconnects on PGXL, TGXL and AGs until I installed the dedicated switch.

We have found that not all Gigabit switches are created equal. The good ones work well. The not so good ones seem to drop a lot of data.

I often suggest to try 100mb switch and see if the problem goes away.

I installed the TP-Link TL-SG108S 8 Port Switch. I got it on Amazon for around $25 and simply moved the Cat6a cables from router to the switch. Ken from Flex Technical Support suggested this switch and it worked for me.

I seem to have the same problem with the Power Genius XL and a TP-Link TL-SG116E switch. Are there any settings I should check? This is a new switch at a new location, using with 8600.
