Flex 6400 and Wsjtx audio issue

I hadn't turned on radio in several weeks, I tried to run Wsjt-X and the audio now comes though speakers. The audio setting in Wsjt-x is correct, so I'm thinking a windows 11 issue but cant find issue. Thanks

    OK, that helps.

The Monitor on WSJT or the Monitor on the Radio?

Yes, if you turn Monitor off on WSJT, it will not decode.

If, on the radio, then it sounds like something else is hearing the audio and you have the wrong RX input set. The monitor function on SmartSDR has no affect on the DAX audio stream required for WSJTx.

    It should look like this

These are 2 different things. It is possible to share the audio with multiple devices. The DAX audio that WSJT uses is not related to the audio we use to listen to the radio.

Is this receive audio or transmit audio?

If receive, you can just down down the volume in SmartSDR.

If this is transmit audio, it sounds like you have turned on your Monitor function.

[{"insert":"If I turn Monitor off, it doesn't decode FT8. I've used it without any issues for so long, I don't recall what was on/off or the settings. \n"}]

I didn't know there was a monitor on Radio 😁 let me check that later. Radio does key up when Tune is pushed in Wsjtx

I actually leave the Mon function on when using WSJT-X. That way I can hear if the transmitted audio is clean.

If the audio is distorted I know to restart DAX.

Without listening I might never know...
