    Hi Neal

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to do so as you there is no guarantee on your new computer there might already be Com ports in place.  What that means if you are using 6/106 on your current PC, what if 6 is already assigned to some other application.

So, that means you have to rebuild all your com ports as you re-install your Ham programs on the new computer.

I used a used a copy program that moved all files and settings from my old computer to my new one.  All comports as programmed on my old computer became functional on the new computer.  It did it over the LAN.  My two computers use w10. EaseUS Todo PCTrans  from Cleverbridge is the program used.  Also transferred most of my applications, which worked for most but some needed key support, some were free some had to pay for new copy.
