Putting a 6000 series on my LAN

Can anyone give me a concise set of directions for putting my 6400 on my local LAN. I also want to register it so my ham buddy can use it from his Maestro. My Maestro sees my wireless and the 6400 is pulgged into my wired LAN. Now what do I have to do to get it all to work? I know it is in the manuals, I read something about it but cannot find it. I don't seem to know what the correct "buzz" words are to find it on line. If you can't give me directions, maybe you can tell me what to serarch for. I am particularly confused about connecting a Maestro rather than using software on my computer. I would like to have both.

Hi
Have a look at this document for the LAN part https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/202118558-How-to-Connect-your-FLEX-6000-to-a-LAN. Tim did a great job writing it up.
For setting up SmartLInk, the SmartSDR manual in Section 9 goes through the setup step by step. I would walk through that first and if you have any issues, let us know.

The manual is important as it will show you how to make sure you how to create your SmartLink account and register your radio to SmartLink. Take some time looking at Section 9 piece by piece.
The Maestro, SmartSDR on a PC, etc are all radio client and what you can do on one thing, you should be able to do on the other. A client is something you use to operate the radio.
There is a number of videos you can find on YouTube as well that might help you out. Have you had a chance to look at any of them yet? https://www.youtube.com/user/FlexRadioSystems
