    Ok, I am a little confused with this thread.  I received a message on 08 Feb 2017 with the subject: "PowerGenius XL Passes FCC Certification".  I was thinking that was the message that made the announcement that reservations were open.  Am I wrong in that knowledge and did I miss an announcement?  I placed my order on that same day, 08 Feb 2017, and my order # would make me third on the above list.  What am I missing that putting me ahead of three people that placed their order 6 days before me?  I currently have little credence in using this list to determine possible individual delivery dates, once shipments start

    Based on Gerald's email, looks like the first production run was sold out, with the potential if all goes will to start October deliveries. 

    Looks like there could be 200 or more amps sold (assuming there were no other types of orders that was given an order number, i.e. order 11611 was an amp and soon after a Radio was purchased on order number 11614).  It will apparently take a few months to work through the backlog,  I am guessing mine will be likely December or January.  Of course that all depends on size of first run, rate of run, number of units shipped on boat from Montenegro or whatever transport mode, customs, etc.

    Okay, Wayne. I am 11835 as you can see from your list. That puts me 135 after you. Do you have any thoughts as to my delivery date? Early 2018?

    I believe that all orders, regardless of the item, follow the same numbering scheme at FRS. Even a SmartLink license will be AB-99999. At some point it will move on to AC-00001 and so on.
    Therefore your AB-11835 could be PowerGenious-XL number 5 as far as amps is concerned.

    I read this post and it makes me chuckle.  First and foremost, we really appreciate everyone's excitement and anticipation over the new PGXL amp.   We are really excited about it too.

    And trying to determine possible ship dates using your order number is admirable, but it is not that accurate for predicting delivery times.  

    This same type of academic exercise was tried when the FLEX-6000 and it produced limited results.

    We will ship the PGXL based on order date and time.  Since only a deposit has been required at this point, we will have to collect the final payment before shipment.  If we have difficulties doing that, after a period of trying, we'll skip that order and ship for a customer that we can contact.  Also, there will be some order attrition during this process as well, it happens all the time and is expected.  Once shipping starts, we will ship low volumes initially and ramp up over the course of a week or two to work out the workflow kinks.  And you have to factor in that everything ordered from our commerce system receives an order number, from a $25 cable to a FLEX-6700, so these factors skew the "linearity" of the order data.

    The PGXL alpha units are undergoing testing now (and the results have been very good).  We expect to have pre-production beta units next month for final testing.  If testing of the pre-production units goes well, production units will follow after that, so we are still targeting fall for delivery.
