Q5 transverter

Options
Are transverters, like the Q5 ment to be used with modes like cw, ssb, etc rather then repeaters???

I have found that 144.050 cw or 144.300 usb (just as an example) works flawlessly. Where 146.970 or even 145.130 both fm repeaters are not as accommodating to the end user...
Has anyone been able to setup a FM repeater using either SSDR or AETHERSDR?

Can you post a screen shot of your repeater settings. Are you sure you had the offset set?

I use a transverter for FM all the time. I built a Windows utility to make it easier. Here is a link to the latest release.

    https://github.com/KD0RC/FlexRepeaterSpots/releases/tag/FlexRepeaterSpots_V1.14

FlexRepeaterSpots is a utility for Flex 6000, 8000 and Aurora series transceivers. It places “permanent” spots on your SmartSDR screen (these spots do not time out like DX spots). The spots indicate the frequency and name of FM repeaters. A table of FM options is kept for each repeater spot such that clicking on a spot applies the appropriate options (mode, offset and direction, CTCSS tone, squelch) to the active slice (i.e. the slice that just landed on the spot).

Ctrl-V should work or your ability to upload a picture.

Have you set up the RX IF of the Q5 as described in the Q5 documentation?

Did you order a transverter with Split IF or without?
