    Hi Propguy,

    Based on a recommendation from Tim some years ago I bought and am using a TP-Link TL-SG1024DE Ethernet Switch with my 6700. Besides being a good switch at a reasonable cost it's "managed" so I can monitor what's going which has been very valuable in debugging various issues.

    I remember I had problems with my 6500 and Maestro, turned out having a 1Gb switch/router was not optimal nor needed. A 100 Mb proved to work much better. Right now I use a managed switch and programmed the ports used by Flex to be 100 Mb.
