Update
20meters with 20 watts disconnects radio
This is the worst condition!
Also does this on other bands but just more power!
I have added full ferrite’s kit
Shielded cat 6 cable
Added 1:1balun to fan dipole.
Turned and moved antenna further alway from radio
Changed coax
Changed position of all cables.
Changed cat 6 cable.
And lots more !!!
Any advice would be appreciated !0 -
Hi Mike, I had a similar problem. The two big culprits were my Ethernet cables (including those not related to my radio) and my USB cables. Once I put mix 31 ferrites on all Ethernet cables and all USB cables, my problem went away.

You might want to try disconnecting everything you can, then add them back one by one until the problem returns.
I would start with just the computer plugged directly into the radio to see if the problem happens. Disconnect all keys, mics, speakers, remote switches etc. If the problem persists under these conditions, then it might be the computer itself that is susceptible to RF.

I have tried ,but its always worth another look.

Mike-VA3MW Administrator, FlexRadio Employee, Community Manager, Super Elmer, Moderator adminOptionsIt could be RF on the DC cable getting into the network switch.
What make of switch are you using and is it in a metal case?
