This is W6GZG from Fernely, NV. I operate from an assisted living facility and currently use RemoteTX to control an Icom 7300, using a Myantenna end-fed 10-75 MHz antenna. I am interested in increasing my footprint by increasing my output power with an Aurora AU-500. Question: Can I connect it remotely to my Apple iMac via Wi-Fi? At my end, the Wi-Fi is 418 Mbps down and 541 Mbps up. At the transmitter location, the Wi-Fi connection is 300 Mbps using an eero mesh. The average latency is 55MS. I understand I will need a Smart SDR for Mac software for my iMac. Will a Aurora AU-500. Thank you, ****

TNX Mike. I viewed your UK YouTube video. Could remote be possible using a Rapberry inter face with the FlexRadio?

Yes using the SmartLink utility, but the radio is not WiFi enabled and has to be cabled to the router. You can add a gaming WiFi adapter to the radio if required.
Keep in mind that WiFi can be bursty and you might hear the out artifact. As for your upstream, that is more than enough. It is the Jitter numbers that are more critical.

Mike-So, as I understand it, if I have a FlexRadio and a Smart SDR for MAC App, I just plug it into my 110V outlet, connect the antenna, and I'm ready to operate bands from 160 to 6m with the correct antennas. I will then have up to 500 watts of transmission power, including a built-in auto-tuner. That is the ultimate rig for this OM operating from an assisted living facility in Fernley, Nevada. Ham radio has come a long way since my first AM QSO back in 1951. I am impressed by the technology, especially SDR. Well done.
Many thanks for your kind answers to my questions.
