    Bob,

Importing profiles from a previous version should never be a problem. The imported profiles are merged with any existing profile that you may have had in the radio. If you wish to have the 4.0.1 profiles only, do a 'factory reset' ( which wipes all radio profiles except radio defaults ) and import your 4.0.1 profiles.

except in this one instance, v4.0.1 did not convert profiles properly when upgrading from v3.
importing profiles saved from v4.0.1 can lead to problems.

if your radio gets “wonky” after importing profiles that were saved from v4.0.1 after upgrading to v4.2.18, REPEAT the Factory Reset and DO NOT import the profiles.

Ken, when did v4.0.1 come out that may be effected? I have had some crazy weird issues and may be Profile related but I hate to have to rebuild all of them as I have probably over a hundred profiles.

Having the release date will give me a approx. time frame to load that may be safe to use on 4.2.18

    Thanks
