New to Maestro C ... 4.2.18?

I am new to Maestro C. Is here anything special I need to do apart from updating the local connected computer (for data), the remote computer (for updates), and the remote radio?

Is here anything I need to do on the Maestro for this major update?

I understand that you do not need to do anything with your Maestro. That work will be done by Flex in due time.

Yes, when you start the Maestro, you will need to update it to 4.2.18 to match the radio.

Update - Maestro C is working fine with my remote Flex-6400. Both are on 4.2.18 and I really like the Maestro.

Now I am trying to figure out how to configure FreeDV 2.3 to work with the Maestro C and on the connected computer, DAX and CAT. CAT is fine but DAX doesn't work in RX. I assume it has to do with the DAX channel. All FreeDV docs say to use DAX 1 but the Maestro says that it's using DAX 1. I assume that I need to change the DAX channel for FreeDV.

I'll do some research and post the question in the "software" section
