Flex6400 and Maestrao C together

I want to operate my Flex6400 on slice A and Maestro C on slice B. Different band/mode. The Flex6400 is on a remote QTH and today I only use 1 slice.

Will it work or do I need a 3rd parity program? What about DAX and CAT?

Thank you from LA9BM, Leif

You can do that. It is called Multi Flex.

Yes, DAX and CAT will work as well.

    • SSDR/Smart link connect to your FLEX-6400 over SmartLink - Slice A
    • Do the same with the Maestro C - it will show up as Slice A - that sounds confusing, but it is a different Slice A as it is Slice A on the Maestro
    • With DAX and CAT, which I assume is on the same PC, you have to tell it which client to use.

Give it a try and you should be able to sort it out pretty quickly.

Leif, Flex sees those as two "operators" at two separate locations, so they each start with their own Slice A.
