SmartSDR+

in SmartSDR+

I was able to get SmartSDR+. The process was very smooth, but now that I have it, I can't seem to use the new features:

I tried the Refresh button, I powered off the radio and back on and finally, I did a factory reset. Is there something that I need to do to enable the features, or are they only for early adopters at this point?

    I am glad I am not the only one confused. I have rebooted, factory reset, reinstalled, re-read the installation notes, checked Mike's table of features. I conclude that only NR, NB and APF are available. I opened a Ticket but then closed it thinking it was me, maybe early senile dementia. But now I wonder. Len, when you receive clarification please publish the facts of it. Thanks.

    I was not referencing diversity. I am showing the NRL noise reduction button which is supposed to work on a 6400.

    I think this is covered in the release notes, but maybe I am missing something. Can you clarify a bit and maybe we can sort it out.

    You are not missing something. It is that the features list is inexplicit as to what is available on the initial release and what is not, which is everything except noise floor adjustment if you have only the 8400(M). The preceding paragraph that you note above is being overlooked by many, most even, and hence the confusion.

    I upgraded my 8400 to the SmartSDR+ and all the new New DSP Noise Mitigation are still grayed out. I put in a support ticket for this problem. Heard nothing back yet!

    Hi Ken, As a SmartSDR+ user you won't get the new functionality until 30 days after the release date. This gives the Early Access purchasers a 30 day head start (they pay extra for this privilege).

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
