Audio Distortion using DAX on FlexRadio SmartSDR for Windows
For some time, I have been chasing an audio distortion issue whilst using DAX in SmartSDR for Windows. I have read many threads regarding audio distortion issues on this forum. Some have not had a conclusive fix.
My Flex radio is at a remote site which requires the Internet to gain access to it from my home QTH. I have conclusively identified and fixed the issue and made a short YouTube video for you to see how I did it. I hope it might be of some use to you.
Here is a link however, the link might not be allowed by the moderator.

If not, just do a search on YouTube for Steve Adler and find me!

Mike-VA3MW Administrator, FlexRadio Employee, Community Manager, Super Elmer, Moderator adminOptionsLars, if 3.10.10 is not working for you, then please open a support ticket to make sure they are aware if you have not done so already. What he describes is not related to the SmartSDR version at all.
In the odd clicks, that you hear in the 'fixed' version, that is still UDP packet loss on the network. UDP packet loss is normal and can happen external to the radio. Switches will drop these packets if they become overloaded by design. Steve identifies this in the beginning of the video of all the places that network packets can be dropped.
