tgxl integration goes in and out

I have seen this over my different mode from CW to FT8 and all between. Today I started off this morning at 6am working 40m DX on FT-8 then stayed in band did the treasure coasters net as I'm net control on Thursday. About 0912 I saw 6m spots on my screen. I hit the tune button on the TGXL integration NOPE , had to bring up the TGXL and change the tune. This was going on Radio A form 40m to 6m Radio B after 3 hour run on FT8 on 6m this morning I went back to 20M Radio A and click tune NOPE had to bring up TGXL. I didn't restart Smart SDR. So yesterday it never failed me it was smooth all day. But today as above you see it failed twice.

What is this could be; I follow W2OX unchecking the tuner integration on the amp software and today I ran the amp software only till I got my Power out set to 350 watts then I stuck it down. So I guess I will create a log for this. anyone have a clue?

Conditions: FLEX 8600 version 3.9.18 Tuner 1.2.17 PGXL 3.8.9 AGXL 4.1.8 all running on Windows 11 Home

    Hi James,

    I'm having significant issues with the TGXL integration feature in v3.9.18 too. I'm currently waiting for a response from Tim regarding it.

    Questions: do you use profiles ? If so, are you having an inordinate number of crashes when you choose them ? Also, do you ever use MultiFlex mode ? If so, do you experience a significant increase in issues when you do ?

    Just a note: do you mean, "… unchecking the PGXL integration …" in your second paragraph ? I think that's the recommendation.

    I'm a in the shack ham; with a recent replacement left knee I sit in my chair and work voice and CW and exercise my knee. Now changing profiles no the only profile I use is for CW as my hearing is not the best and bend the sound to me. Currently under heavy lighting conditions Heavy Thunderstorm AGXL is powered down. Yes I mean unchecking the TGXL integration in the PGXL app.

    James, what version of the TGXL firmware / APP are you running?

    You should be running version 1.2.17 of the TGXL firmware and Utility from the 4O3A web Download page for the integrations to work.

    DISCLAMER: BUT, I for one have issues with the radio shutting down randomly when running version 1.2.17 of the TGXL firmware with my Radio, I like the new features of SmartSDR 3.9.18 and I have just a few very minor bugs with it until I throw TGXL 1.2.17 in the mix.

    Ok, thanks for the response. Good luck with your TGXL issue and I hope your knee replacement gets you going again soon. My brother-in-law just had a shoulder replacement and after a short recovery he says it's like getting a new lease on life !
