Question about RX inputs on 6600

in FLEX-6000 Signature Series

When using a receive-only antenna located very close to a transmit antenna, should an RF limiter be placed in the RX antenna feedline to prevent damage to the radio? Or do the RX inputs have built in protection?

    That is always a good idea. They are protected to vary large signals (detail in the hardware manual).

    If using a Beverage, then yes as they are good a picking up large ground static so you do need some way to discharge that.

    A simple 'hack' is to add an NE62 Neon bulb across the line, if you can find one.

    Thanks Mike. I will have to look into the Neon bulb method. I will probably use something off the shelf like the DX Engineering 'Receiver Guard'.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
