Flex 6700 and have a Yaesu M100 desk microphone PTT not working

The PTT on this microphone is working fine on a Yaesu rig but not on the Flex 6700. When I use MOX to transmit the audio is good so that bit works fine. I have looked at the pin outs for microphone and Flex both seem to be the same. Help!

This is very frustrating. The hand mike works fine, the M100 Mike works fine on a Yaesu. The M100 PTT won’t work on the Flex 6700. I’ve checked the pin outs and they appear to be the same. Someone must have come across this before. Come on Flex you must have come across this before.

silly question, but I have done it... is the lock button on the top of the barrel of the mic pushed?

Sure you have choosen the correct mic input? I use either a Shure via balanced or headset via frontpanel jack on my 6700. Need to remember to chose the correct one depending on input. Easy to oversee ..
