Problem with adding virtual ports

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble adding a viery CAT port in SmartSDR CAT. The program selects only a free port and after adding it I have the following message: "Virtual serial port failed to create. Double weseck the Serial Port settings. There are free ports in Windows, but SmartSDR Cat allocates the port without the possibility of changing. Do you need to add WIN post in the device manager first to be visible in Smart SDR CAT? How to solve this problem?

    No, it should 'just work'.

There is something with in Windows permissions causing this not to work.

I'll open a support ticket for you.
