CQ WW RTTY with 6400M

Hallo, may be somebody know how. In the last CQ WW RTTY I used N1MM with fldigi an my FlexRadio 6400M. I noticed that a strong station reduced the readebility of a weaker one, forced by the AGC. In my case the filter bandwidth is 1.8K and AGC setting is fast, which does not really help. How can I do it better?

The RTTY standard shift used on the ham bands is 170Hz. Narrowing your RX filter to 250 to 300 Hz should help.

Thank you Gayle. Yes, I ignored the BW Select not to loose the quick change from one signal to another within BW. I must consider.
