Jim, Are you speaking of received audio directly from radio? Or through pc or IOS DEVICE? Or is this tx audio? Dudley0

Same question was posted last week. If you are doing digital modes I have noticed the gauge reflecting slow speed maybe the cause. In my cause rebooting the cable modem / router resolves my issue.0

while I'm transmitting I hear from many people now.

James, would you explain your operating set up?

Flex 6600 with Smart SDR version 3.1.8 with a ALS-1306 AMP and Mic is Heil 781 plugged in BAL

What you could do is try the hand mic and see if the drop outs still happen. that would eliminate the 781 connection as the problem.
Also, your can listen to your own TX to see if you hear it. Set up a 2nd slce on the same freq as slice A, so open a second panadapter set TX transmit to xvtr on slice B. Listen on slice A
And try transmitting without the amp

Think I found it my grandson and turned the DEXP all the way up no more reports of the issues

O f course, the DEXP can cause cut offs if it is set too deep. Remember though you will need to set it correctly or it will cause other TX problems as well. I don't ever use it myself. with a headset you shouldn't need it.
