Sorry guys, but you are talking at cross purposes. Alan, Scott is NOT using DAX / CAT or xDax / xCat. He is using dpSDR for audio and MLDX for CAT control - no DAX involved. All audio is routed as Mac output and input from dpSDR into / out of the Mac itself through Loopback or Source Nexus. Tx DAX and DAX Rcv must be OFF.0

One extra comment to describe what is going on to allow v3 to work on a Mac.
dpSDR is using the Flex IP interface for control and audio - no DAX / CAT. MLDX is also using native Flex IP interface to talk to the Flex, in parallel to the dpSDR software. So this is how xDax / xCat are bypassed.
Audio in/out are provided by dpSDR directly to the Source Nexus audio driver. Your digital app then uses the Source Nexus audio in/out for its recv / tx. No DAX.
CAT control is provided by an emulator in MLDX. Your digital app talks to that CAT emulator in MLDX. This is all described in the dogpark software on-line manuals and FAQs.0 -
Yet another point: you need BOTH dogparkSDR and MacLoggerDX for this to work. If you don’t have both, and want to use a Mac, you MUST revert to v2.4.9 and use xDax / xCat.0

Scott: if you are seeing "Mic" in the Radio prefs Microphone selection you do not have Mac Audio selected. If Mac Audio is not selected the audio does not go to the Mac or come from the Mac - it comes from the hardware connected directly to the radio.0
