Maestro not booting up

Performed a downgrade from 3 to 249 via maestro because of the monitor issues and now the maestro wont complete booting. screen gets as far as the little circles than goes dark and just sits there like me, a box of dumb rocks! connected maestro direct to my 6600, same thing! Did a couple upgrade/downgrades between 249 & 3, with same results several times. Radio plays well with other PC's on network.
**** am I doing wrong ?????

Man I am sure that can flip an OM out on a beautiful weekend!

    Do the Maestro Reset:
    1. Remove the battery if you installed one
    2. Hold the power button until the Maestro is completely powered down, maybe 30 seconds or so)
    3. Remove the DC from the Maestro for at least 20 seconds,
    4. Reconnect the DC , the Maestro should boot up on it's own.

I did as u suggested couple dozen times. I get the little circles during the boot up and a few seconds later get blue screen saying  "Maestro" (no LOGO) for 1 or 2 seconds than screen goes dark and and and sits there. Its less than 2 months old.
