Are there plans soon to activate the Fusion application in the NW dongle?

I would rather see a DMR decodng implementation first (as well as a more "bullet proof" D*Star implementation that does not repeatedly require rebooting my 6700 and sometimes plugging and unplugging the ThumbDV stick)...

I'm active on the Fusion/Wires-X Network and occasionally hear some people using a new device called a  DV4-Mini.  I haven't tried it myself but I understand it can handle DStar, Fusion (C4FM), and DMR all in one dongle.  It would be great if this device could work with the Flex.

If I'm not mistaken HF Fusion would only be 10 meters and above?

For the past two months I've been using a DV4Mini here in my shack.  I've tried DSTAR, Fusion (C4FM), and DMR+.   It's an amazing little USB UHF transceiver.  The latest software release DV4MF2  (2.0.0.8) works great!

As I understand it, the DV4Mini doesn't work like the ThumbDV in our Flex Radios, but is a computer access to these digital mode's internet based Gateways. The software is supposed to only work for Hytera's flavor of DMR Gateways (that's called DMR+), which are not used that much around here (we have DMR-MARC Gateways around here), and you appear to need to have a DV capable radio for that particular mode to get onto a remote Gateway? The point of the device is not to make a radio, multi-DV protocol enabled, but act as an Internet access for nonlocal Gateways for the DV capable radios that you already own and operate.

I may be wrong, but that was the way it seemed to be described when I last investigated it.

It is something we would like to do, but it isn't in our near term plans.
