downloaded and installed 1.4,everything works apart from remote its greyed out and when I hover mouse over it it says in valid playback devise,can anyone help.thank you

  Right click on the speaker icon in the lower right-hand corner and select playback devices and select one that is valid.

  that's that sorted thank you,now I have to get my laptop to run 1.4 software installed but when I start it it does not show radio

  the main computer does not need to be off if its connected correctly to the router... at least mine doesn't..

  Ok sounds like communications problems, try re-booting your router and the laptop is indeed talking to the network
