I don't know about a cat command... but why not just click the speaker icon to mute the receive audio???

I am looking to control mute via a Flex Control or another external device.
When using a 30" Monitor at 2560x1600 its not always the easiest thing to click the tiny icon at the top of the screen.
If you study systems that have gone touch screen such as iPhone, iPad or car sound systems, you will notice designers provide physical controls for basic features such as volume, mute, etc. As convenient as digital interfaces are, most people still prefer rotary dials for volume and push buttons for quick access to specific functions.

No, there is not a CAT command for muting the audio in SmartSDR.0

Thanks Tim. Not sure if you have had this request before it might be worth considering.

If your running DDUtil you could try DD6MAM0; DD6MAM1;

All,
I'm trying to use these (DD6) DDUTIL commands, but none of them work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. DDUTIL is connected and I set my software to talk to RPC1 in DDUTIL setup. Normal ZZ CAT commands work, but all the DD6 commands do nothing. What am I missing here?
