For a station running a 8400M, a Power Genius and a Tuner Genius operated by a Windows 11 computer using SmartSDR, what is the correct power down sequence?

Turning off the PGXL or the TGXL at anytime just removes it as being part of the radio system. If you move your PGXL into Standby, then the radio knows you can't use it.

Thanks Mike! The reason I asked was because the PG seems to lose connection to the radio randomly and reverts to RF sense mode. This has happened twice and was only noticed after powering up the radio and trying to have a QSO at much reduced power. I was thinking that the last time the station was powered down that if the sequence wasn't right and the radio powered down before the PG that might be when it randomly loses connection. Any thoughts?0
