IARU 2 vs FCC/ARRL band plan display?

The band plan display selections in 4.2.20 are limited to IARU 1, 2 or 3. There is no selection for the FCC/ARRL band plan, which is narrower than IARU 2, which covers North and South America. It seems a little silly for US hams to choose to display IARU 2 when it displays, for example, phone segments on 20M that are not available to them.

The FCC regulations are legally binding laws, while IARU band plans are strictly voluntary, international guidelines designed to prevent interference and organize operations.

Is there going to be a option in the future to display the FCC/ARRL band plan?

No, not at this moment and Hayley explains why in the SmartSDR in a video due to how complicated is worldwide for every country. Post this in new ideas and we do look at that how important or critical requests are.

Thanks, Mike. But insofar as the majority of Flex customers are US hams, I would have expected that 4.2.20 incorporated a display choice for the FCC/ARRL band plan for them, while leaving the three IARU plans for everyone else.
