Flex 8400M

in SmartSDR for Windows

Hi Everyone..

I,m fairly new to the 8400M having changed from the 5000A.

The radio boots up ok and asks me to update, which I have done .

When I open SMARTsdr, it asks me to update which I agreed it then does seemingly exactly the same update as I did 10 minutes before.

How can I get SMARTsdr to connect with the 8400M in order to run Smartcontrol on my PC (win10 Pro)…… I dont need Smartlink

    It sounds like you are running the wrong version. Look closely at the shortcut and make sure the version number matches the version installed on the radio.

    what next?

    8400M bbots up in "standalone" mode……..I open Smartsdr…..display shows "8400m in use"……..

    and yellow box shows "disconnect"

    Not sure what to do next?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
