Automatically place PGXL in BYPASS for certain bands

Is there a way to automatically place the tuner in BYPASS for certain bands? I am using an outdoor tuner for certain bands and it would be helpful if the TGXL automatically went into standby for those bands so the outdoor tuner can do its thing.

Not really. You could build some NodeRed flows that could do it.

If you want the tuner to bypass on specific bands you can go into the tuner settings, select the Other option and then select band configurator option. It allows you to designate bypass frequencies for each antenna on each band.

remember the start and stop bypass frequency is entered in kHz. (14305.000)

Thank you for the information., Excellent. I have that **** outdoor tuner. It does a great job but max ssb rating claims 1kw and ft8 probably 250. I do not want to cook it.

Thank you to all for the excellent help. I have only been in the hobby for a year and I really appreciate the eagerness of many hams to help others. I had a problem in the home I am at, where I cannot gain access to the building main service ground. Since I made a ground outside of the room for the shack, I did not dare to connect the thin 16 AWG branch circuit ground to the new low resistance ground. SO I floated the branch circuit ground, installed a 2 pole GFCI, then used the new ground to provide outlet power. I drilled 10 ' holes with a pressure washer lance, filled them with enhancement materials then compacted the holes with a pile and sledgehammer. Then drove the grounding rods in. In areas of little rain and dry soil, GEM works well as the betonite absorbes moisture. The epsom salt is preferable as it is less corrosive that table salt.
