How can I prevent DAX from losing its connection to WSJT-X?
I searched the forum but couldn't find anything on the issue I'm having. WSJT-X loses the audio connections to DAX after a short period of operating.
Unfortunately, I don't see a way to attach a picture of the waterfall to show you the issue, but basically everything is being received fine then it just goes to solid red. I can still hear the proper audio through the PC in SmartSDR. I checked the settings in WSJT-X and it is still "DAX Audio RX 1(FlexRadio Systems Dax Audio)".
In checking the Device Manager in Windows 11 I see a boatload of DAX audio "devices." There is DAX Audio RX 1 up through RX 8. There is DAX IQ RX 1 through RX 4, DAX Mic Audio, DAX RESERVED AUDIO RX 1 through RX 8, DAX RESERVED IQ RX1 through RX 4 and DAX RESERVED MIC AUDIO.
The only thing that will clear it is a reboot. Stopping and restarting DAX doesn't help.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
73, Greg, KM5GT
