Not connecting to SmartLink

My laptop crashed and I reloaded everything that I had before. I installed V4.0.1 because that is what my FLEX 6600M is using. Somehow the software did not load the FLEX VSP.drivers. Now I get a nasty message telling me that CAT will not work because I don't have those drivers. I looked in my "PROGRAMS & FEATURES" and those drivers are not there. So what is a mother to do???? I am using AT&T fiber Gatway that does not have UPnP, so I have to go into Gaming/Nat in the Gateway and setup port forwarding. I named it FLEX 6600 for TCP 4993-4994 and FLEX6600M for UDP 4993-4994. I still can't connect to SmartlLink. When I do the TEST that is in the window of SmartSDR, it fails I get a RED dot.

Thanks, Bob W6MTM (w6mtm@verizon .net)

It looks like your settings are wrong. Automatic setup is the better way if your router support uPNP and it is turned on.

    UDP should be 4993-4993

    TCP should be 4994-4994

The VSP drivers are not part of SmartLink and the network and are a totally different problem. SmartLink is only required for remote HF operation.

I would recommend you open a support ticket.
