No spectrum/waterfall display on second PC

I updated to 4.1.5 on my main desktop without issues. Then I installed 4.1.5 on my laptop but after connecting the LAN connected laptop , I get no RF display on it . I hear audio coming from 8400 in the other room when I use the laptop , just no display . I have never had issues in the past when using this laptop with a 6600 . Network data shows things as "excellent".

Each client connection is like a different user/radio connection.

On your laptop, have you clicked PC Audio in the upper right of SmartSDR? Once you do that, it will play audio to your default sound card.

I tried that, no luck. With PC Audio clicked on , it does mute the 8400's connected speakers but audio does not play on the laptop and there is no display of signals in SmartSDR's spectrum/waterfall.

I was wrong, simply turning on PC audio was not enough. After doing that I rebooted SmartSD and all is good now.

    Thanks Mike .

You do have to make sure that your default Windows Sound device is your speakers.

Glad you got it figured out.
