how to restart DAX v.4.1.5

HI, after a reinstall of the v4.1.15 my SSDR gives driver error on the DAX part,

and there is no sign of all the flex drivers in the win11-audio menu.

Is it possible to restart just the DAX part or should I re-reinstall the whole v415 system?

Phil

ps: the radio is ok

I got the same DAX screen, shut everything down (radio) and rebooted computer and it was /is fine now.

@Phil_EBV Next time, simply open Task Manager, search for DAX, and terminate it. This is a faster solution than rebooting. I’ve encountered this issue multiple times before, but I haven’t been able to identify the conflicting component. It has occurred in versions 4.1.3, 4.15, and even previous versions that I’ve used.

I've experienced something similar even going back to Ver 3. I don't get that error, DAX RX or sometimes the TX, just stops working and the only way to recover is to power cycle the radio.

Please open a support ticket. They can fix this very quickly, but do it before they go on Christmas break.

I have the same problem. Cold restart doesn't fix the problem, SmartSDR neither v4.1.3 nor v4.1.5 create the required DAX channels. At first only DAX Audio RX 1 was missing. Now there are none.

HI All and Flexed, yes I have also discovered that the Process_**** solves temporarly the problem.

I suppose it is a WIN11 problem, during the WIN10+v3xx period the radio has never suffered such issues.

The DAX now is "working" ok, but….

At the present time I have another weird behaviour: the CAT starts with the radio but does not work,

the workaround is **** it and restart manually, so works … of course the definitive solution MUST be

studied by the FLEX_LABs and of course the SUPPORT ticket has been opened.

is not permitted by the today electronic-censors, my excuses for that.
