Smartlink Setup help

Is there a step by step instruction set somewhere for SmartLink?. I want to use Maestro at my work QTH, 6600 is at home.. Later I will set up an iPad.

I see the SETUP Smartlink buttons and tried it but nothing works.

I have not found the right info on Youtube.

Follow up. I tried the setupo smart link button, disconencted radio….shows I am registered. The test button shows red.

I did the steps on the Maestro whiole on 4.01 version before, and it was the same red test. So I hope finding the instructions will solve it.

network settings are automatic. The Maestro was off.

Multiflex is enabled….

Did you follow Chapter 9 of the SmartSDR manual? It is well laid out there and no sense retyping it.

Mike, I think I passed by that manual many times because it is dated 2019. A lot of the YT videos are also 2017-2020, so IM worried about spending time on old material. Then finding the better one and learning it again.

Ive spent hours now. changed settings on the router but smartlink will not test green. going to consult IT tech

All the videos and manuals are still current even though they are that old.

I need help. If everything ethernet I conenct to my router and switch work, this should work but it is not. I logged into the router/AP unit and looked at all the settings. Made sure everything was opened up. No restrictions. I will enter a help request.

I did go over all the manuals by now.

Ken Wells helped me. It was a matter of port forwarding. I just didnt understand needing that because the manuals said if things were set up in the router for UPnP the forwarding would not be needed. However the Smartlink was not happy with that so the forwarding was required. Case resolved.
