Flexradio 6400 - SmartSDR+ v4 fallen back to license 3 after update to newest FW 5.1.5

Anybody else? How to reactivate - except open a request ticket and wait?

Update: an initial reset of the radio had no effect. An hour later, I performed a second complete reset, and now license for SmartSDR+ v4 has been reactivated. Perhaps Flex has intervened in the meantime?

I wonder if anybody else observed similar SmartSDR+ license issue after loading FW 4.1.5.

Same here. Manually uploaded my license file to the radio and it picked it back up.

@HB9BNV Have you tried refresh button on the license window? The next time this happens, simply click the “Refresh” button and ensure that the radio has an internet connection.

@John Mikucki Where can I find a license file to upload? Upload where and how? When i bought it I only got a conformation from Flex sales saying that my license order is completed. Not a problem at the moment, as the license is reactivated now, but I just wonder.

By the way: SmartSDR+ for 6400 was a flop and waste of money because none of the new NR features ist supported by this model. Argh, I better should have checked it before… My request to cancel the purchase was ignored. Unfortunately, Flexradio was not accommodating.

@HB9BNV I had to open a support ticket to get the license file. My radio is not internet-connected, so it won't pull the license from Flex's servers.

i now own a 8600 every outher time i start the 8600 smart cat does notlog in smart cat v4.1.5shows ouon screen but in red says not present isure would like to fix smart cat v4.1.5
