SmartSDR+ transferrable to new radio?

I have a 6500 and paid for SSDR+ last month. I'm getting an 8400 and trading the 6500 back to Flex. Do I have to buy another SSDR+ license?

    They did transfer it with no problems. If fact, when I got the new 8400 and turned it on, the SDR software recognized the radio. Very nice from Flex.

    The license stays with the radio so technically yes you need to buy another.

    Seeing as you are trading it with Flex, speak to them and see if they will transfer it over though.

    On very very specific situations, we will transfer the license. For wjresq he fit the requirement.

    Normally, SmartSDR licenses are non-transferable or refundable.

    this is very bad - i just got my new 8400ATU and i cant transfer my license for sdr+. If this cant be done ill return the radio. Please help .
