How config PTT foot switch physical comm port using SmartSdr 4.0.01 Remote Smartlink

Remote location i use the MOX by press space bar, but this a slow and complicated, push to TX On, Push to TX OFF only work if windows SmartSdr is selected.

I traying using SmartSDR CAT add existing com port, using foot switch to change the state of RTS or CTS, but the dont MOX is updated, dont work!, how setup CAT to TX when changue RTS or CTS?

Local setup flexradio and computer when use the physical PTT from the 8600 flexradio, the audio use always the physical mic port, so if try to use the audio from mic of computer dont work!, the smartsdr cat dont put the MOX on

my misteake using smartsdr CAT to ADD protocol CAT type to the physical comm port,

the correct is ADD smartsdr CAT type protocol PTT, selected from options of protocol

If you are inclined to home brew a solution you can easily build a foot switch that uses a Arduino Nano Every in the foot switch to send Mox commands. I have found it very stable and quiet. See
