Using N1MM DXKeeper Gateway UDP Port 12060

I am using SSDR v3.9.18 on Windows 11.

While starting the N1MM DXKeeper Gateway (https://www.dxlabsuite.com/N1MM-DXKeeper/index.htm), I get an Error: Address in use. I know this is in regard to port 12060 in use by SSDR. How can I change the port to say 12061 in SSDR and keep the functionality in N1MM?

Thanks

Kent N6WT

If it doesn't remember the port for the focus helper then you should open a support ticket so we can get it to engineering.

The CAT port is for Cluster Spots. Sorry, I got confused over that.

Did you press enter after you typed in the value? I just tested on my 6600 and no issues. I shutdown SmartSDR and restarted it and the port is as shown below…

Only 1 PC program can open the same port at a time in Windows.

Any SSDR ports for DX spots are configured in SmartSDR CAT.

    Mike,

Does SSDR use port 12060 for focus helper when N1MM is selected ?

The port is not hard coded. You can change it to any port you wish to use.

I don't have a UDP 12060 port in SSDR CAT. Is this where I am supposed to change it?? Also, I don't see an option to make a UDP Port in SSDR CAT. I only see a TCP port.

I just tried to change the UDP Port to 12061 in the Radio Setup menu. When I close and reopen the menu, the number is back to 12060.

    Let me rephrase that.

When I close and restart SSDR the number is back to 12060.

I now have a problem when I start SSDR I get an error. I changed the focus helper UDP Port to 12061 from 12060 for N1MM. Also, while running N1MM the focus helper does not work when I click something in SSDR

Hi Kent, do an export of your profiles, then perform a factory reset. If that doesn't solve it, submit a help desk ticket.

I created a ticket for this.
