Hamplus to 8600?

in SmartSDR for Windows

I have the DXE cable and USB to serial adapter.
I plugged a brand new USB to serial cable and the 8600 didn’t see it. I used a much older one and the 8600 saw it. Per Hamplus baud rate should be 9600. Cable on Hamplus is in the to radio port. I tried it in the RS232 port and still no good.

Anyone know how to fix this?

    It has to be an FTDI USB device.

    I also have a hamplus 603al ,and looking for a cable to my 8400m.

    DXE has them. I can’t get mine to talk to the radio. I emailed Hamplus and crickets

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
