Disconnects

So today I was moving along doing some FT8. Then I switched to CW on 20M and no output.

PGXL and TGXL are in line and they key ok but 0W. I had WSJTX, slicemaster and FRStack all running. Is there some setting in there that would cause this? All temps below 50C. SWR was 1.2. When I first tried CW SWR jumped to 2:1 for a micro second before shutting it down. I tried to reboot everything and I think windows was doing an update while this was going on.

Anyone have a pipe bomb?? 🙄

Versions to all apps are current including SSDR. OS Win 11.

Tnx

    Hi Greg

    Sorry to hear about this.

There are few things that can happen to cause no power out. Next time, can you share a video or a screen shot of it failing?

Is it working now after you rebooted everything?

    Hey Greg,

Could you be having the infamous "Interlock" problem ? It can occur about the way you're describing. When it does, a small message window saying something about an interlock occurring preventing transmission appears in the lower right hand portion of the SSDR window. It might be easy to miss. Check this post: "Interlock is preventing transmission amp:tgxl" right next to yours for mitigation suggestions.

I was having the interlock issue but think I solved that. right now the amp and tuner was showing crazy swr. I removed the link between those two apps to ssdr. I shut them down then restarted and reset the link (flexradio tab). SWR back to normal. But amp data is not getting to SSDR or FRStack. The PGXL meter shows up in SSDR but just not reading anything.
