Remote 6400 via RemotePC ... settings?

Remote 6400 linked using licensed RemotePC. RX audio is fine, but I can't get the TX audio to work.

  • Local PC on Win 11 Home.
  • Remote PC on Win 11 Pro

Local PC w/USB MIC (works locally and using SmartLINK) —> Connect to remote PC via RemotePC —> On remote PC desktop, I start SmartSDR —> I can manage the Flex and I receive just fine … but no TX audio

SmartSDR 3.8.23:

  • PC Audio is ON (RX is fine)
  • PC selected (for audio in - not MIC)
  • Leve is mid-range
  • DAX is off
  • MON is OFF
  • PROC is ON

On the PC, do I need anything special

  • VAC?
  • VAC lite? etc.
  • Any UDP/TCP port settings I need to make sure are not blocked by the firewall (RX audio and control are fine)?

Run SmartSDR on the User PC as you are doing.

Make sure that you select PC MIC as an input and that your Mic is your default recording device.

I go over it in this video.

Solution was found … in the to RemotePC tab, you need to select "Redirect Mic". All is working great!
