Need technical support from FlexRadio? It's as simple as Creating a HelpDesk ticket.
Is SmartLink having issues again?
1.) SmartSDR sees the radio and then opens the panadapter window.
2.) DAX sees the radio and then looks like it's starting up
3.) CAT sees the radio and looks like it's connected
4.) DAX doesn't connect the Mic or RX Stream
5.) I get an error message that SmartSDR has lost connection to the radio, and everything else follows suit and shuts down.
I've power-cycled the radio several times. It would be really helpful if you guys would post the internal SmartLink status page somewhere that the rest of us could see it. I find it very odd that you keep these things hidden as it would probably save you from answering these types of questions.

I can say that SmartLink is not having any issues.
If your client connects to the radio, then SmartLink has done its job (which is like a phone book) and has passed the information to SmartSDR.
Next SSDR connects to the radio, and you got this far, so what you are seeing is not a SmartLink related issue.
Do you have any sort of VPN running?

No, no VPN running per se. I'm running Tailscale, but that has been on my machine for several months without issue connecting to the radio - Tailscale simply does WireGuard between different devices on your TailNet (which clearly does not include the 6300). The issues connecting to the radio started a couple of days ago. As far as I know, nothing network-related has changed with my notebook, my home internet, nor the internet where the 6300 is.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a million. Here's a screen capture of what it is doing:

If you are running TailScale, can you test without a subnet router running? If you are using a subnet router you'll need to disable it on the hosting device.

I'm testing with three computers:
1.) Computer A is on the same subnet as the 6300. Computer A has a NIC (192.168.0.X) and WiFi (192.168.40.X), and Tailscale is running a subnet router on the WiFi for a different subnet than the 6300's subnet. This computer connects to the 6300 with no problems.
2.) Computer B is remote to the 6300, I normally use this to connect to 6300 to run FT8, and I connect to it via Windows RDC. It is running Tailscale, but has no subnet router and is not connected to an exit node - it's just on Tailscale to allow me to RDC to it via a FQDN with Tailscale Magic DNS.
3.) Computer C is my work notebook which I use to connect to the 6300 for SSB. It is also running Tailscale, but no subnet router, and not connected to an exit node. The video above was taken using this computer.
Bear in mind that all of this has been working just fine until a few days ago.

And magically, everything is back to working again today (without me doing anything to the radio, networks, or computers). Not sure if you guys did anything on the back end, but will thank you for your help anyway. I appreciate the celerity of your responses!
