WINLINK EXPRESS and VARA HF P2P FLEX 8600 no hearing

I'm part of ARES in GA and every Sunday we send reports since I got my FLEX 8600 NCS stations can hear me with a loud signal, but my FLEX (VARA HF) cannot hear their ack. So, checking the FLEX DAX I went to FT8 no issue at all, FLDIGI rtty works perfect. I made sure I was using the current version for the Winlink Express and VARA HF. Has anyone experience this if so, what did you do to fix this?
I'm using smart sdr 3.8.21 and the version of Winlink is 1.7.210 and VARA is 4.8.9
